Mission and Culture

Mission and Culture

Farm Credit's mission has been the cornerstone of our success for 100 years. Our employees recognize that the work they do, in whatever capacity, helps American farmers and ranchers feed the nation and the world. Our focus on this mission drives us to work hard to deliver loans, leases and other financial products that truly help these hard-working men and women, who also happen to be the owners and members of our cooperative businesses.

Community

Alongside this commitment to our borrower owners is a passion to serve the communities in which we live and work. You'll find Farm Credit employees supporting 4-H and FFA activities, selling hot dogs at the local high school football game and volunteering at food banks. You'll also find them offering their expertise in leadership roles in business and industry groups working toward economic and industry growth and stability. And, as commitment to community is one of the guiding principles of cooperatives, you'll find that our organizations are also strong financial supporters of community organizations.

Diversity and Inclusion

At Farm Credit, diversity is the multiple dimensions across which we interact. It is valuing and respecting our similarities and differences resulting in an inclusive mentality and environment. Diversity is both visible and invisible, and is best measured through the ideas generated, the organizational culture created, and the overall results achieved.

Through our involvement in diverse industries and activities, we understand the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We embrace our differences, and believe that by listening to and considering a variety of ideas from a diversity of people and perspective, our organizations and our employees are strengthened.
