Career Opportunity: Seasonal Tax Assistant
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support to tax personnel in our Litchfield office including front line customer service to our tax customers. The incumbent provides customer service, determines customer’s needs, and meets those needs to the extent of the incumbent’s delegated authority.
This is a seasonal non-benefited position working from December through April 15th. Heaviest hours are January through April 15th. Total hours expected to be 500-600 hours and will depend on workload. Incumbent will be paid for actual hours worked with overtime paid for hours over 40 per week.
This position requires a one-year post-secondary degree or certificate in an administrative assistant, legal secretary, or similar type program. Self-motivated and detail-oriented. The incumbent must possess good verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively maintain a high level of professionalism with FCS customers. Committed to and supportive of a team-working environment, that strives to achieve excellent customer service. Working knowledge of the Windows and Microsoft Office computer application environment.
