MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The Sales & Service Specialist’s focus will be on performing loan processing tasks as well as general office duties. Loan processing duties include gathering appropriate information from customers, transmitting information for loan processing, assisting with the loan closing process, and disbursing funds. The SSS receives and properly handles a large volume of telephone calls.
Knowledge and usage of established practices, policies and procedures will be required. Independent judgment is necessary for processing matters not requiring the Regional Manager's or Vice President’s immediate attention. This position requires someone who is self-motivated and able to prioritize workload. The incumbent will work closely with branch team members and Central Office staff to ensure the smooth operation of all business activities and the flow of communication.
This position requires a high school diploma and three to five years of related work experience in an ag lending environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent organizational, verbal/written communication, customer service, time management, and effective team skills are essential. The incumbent must demonstrate a high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to use discretion and tact where confidentiality is required. In addition, the incumbent must be able to utilize computer technology and a variety of software applications.
