Career Opportunity: Systems Analyst I

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The Systems Analyst’s primary role is to:

• Ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level.  This position supports 15 offices and 200+ workstations.

• Assist with the development and maintenance of Citrix Servers and applications, and perform preventative maintenance.

• Record, track and document the help desk request problem-solving process.

• Develop best practices documentation and frequently asked questions databases regarding applications utilized by the technology department and the association as a whole.

This position requires an Associates degree in Computer Science or 5 years equivalent work experience.  Must have A+ Certification and/or be a Microsoft Certified Professional.  Must have extensive support experience with Microsoft applications and a working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.  Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7 required.  Individual must be highly self-motivated and directed, be customer service oriented, work well in a team environment, and have exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening and questioning skills.  Some in-state travel required.
