POSITION: Information Systems (InterBranch)Technical Support Specialist
LOCATION: Turlock, CA
GRADE: Depending upon experience
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for facilitating timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries and problems through SysAid a trouble reporting application. Typical trouble reports are related to network, PC and smartphone-based hardware, and PC and web-based software. Also responsible for conducting technical work in testing and installation of new and existing PC-based systems and performing minor repairs of servers, desktop computers, laptops, printers and scanners. Perform software installations and updates as needed to Windows Operating Systems and application software. Participate in project development with cross functional teams in the Association. Work with SharePoint and SQL software and programming.
EXPERIENCE: • BA/BS degree in Information Systems/Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent in experience. A+ Certificate desirable.
• Must have familiarity/knowledge of system software including Windows 7/8, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Suite applications.
• Working experience with SharePoint 2010 and SQL is desirable.
GENERAL DATA: The Association currently provides lending services to approximately 5,000 customers with loan volume exceeding $1.8 billion. Major commodities financed include dairy, almonds, irrigated field crops, cattle, peaches, wine grapes and walnuts.
The Association currently uses MS SQL Server 2005/2008, Access databases, and Crystal Reports 10 for reporting. The Association utilizes Jack Henry-CORE Director for their in-house loan accounting and General Ledger systems. Must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
