MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Supervise the daily activities of all Collateral Technicians to ensure that all collateral documents are being handled timely and accurately and monitor the turn-around times and efficiencies of all daily work. Monitor and review all monthly collateral certification reports to all Associations. Hire, train, motivate, supervise, and review all collateral technicians and determine and implement disciplinary actions as needed under the direction and guidance of manager. Research any changes that need to be made to procedures, processes, and systems and write new procedures and provide training and direction to all Collateral Technicians for handling the changes. Promote and maintain customer satisfaction and trust through individual attention, and timely and accurate collateral services. Assist with preparing and administering the department operating budget. Manage the annual inventory function for both associations and OFIs and research and report all inventory exceptions accurately and timely. Monitor the electronic Farm Cash Management process to ensure no issues arise and to process unidentified items. Manage the AgriBank participation collateral documents electronically to ensure required documentation has been obtained to support AgriBank's purchased participation interests. Run and analyze month end collateral monitoring reports and resolve issues as needed.
Bachelors degree in business administration or related field and have a minimum of five years of experience in a financial institution environment or equivalent, or possess a combination of education and experience that provide the ability to supervise a group of employees in a disciplined environment utilizing uniform processes and procedures that must be consistently applied. Must have the ability to review individual's performance to ensure timely completion and accuracy of their work. Previous supervisory experience is highly preferred but not required. Must have experience with commercial and mortgage loan documentation, loan plans, leasing, participation and syndication documentation and procedures. Must have a working knowledge of Crystal, Excel, Access and Word software applications. Must have ability to maintain Access database and reports, and Crystal database reports. Experience with Cornerstone helpful. Must have strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
