Job Description

The Treasury Specialist - Cash Management will work with the key cash management product in daily operations in executing transactions. Will build and maintain exceptional service and client relations with the Bank's Association clients. The Treasury Specialist - Cash Management must execute electronic cash transactions including wires and ACH in a time critical and flawless fashion, process entries for all cash related transactions and analyze the daily cash position of the Bank. The incumbent also confirms investment purchases, enters these purchases into the safekeeping agent system and insures they are settled properly in relation to safekeeping operations. The position is responsible for General Ledger accounting relating to all cash transactions, both wholesale and retail.

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and 2-4 years of progressively responsible experience related to cash management or finance, or equivalent level of skills and competence. An understanding of the following concepts; cash management, accounting, securities and investment operations is desired. Must have a proven ability to understand the underlying financial, transactional and related accounting to these concepts.  An aptitude for solving operational problems, along with the ability to operate a variety of systems, perform a multitude of transactions with speed and efficiency while maintaining attention to accuracy and detail is required. Strong Excel, database, and reporting software experience is required.  Must understand banking cash management practices and have exceptional customer service skills. Will have the opportunity to manage small to medium sized projects and assist in developing procedures and automating processes. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills required.  Must maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
