Job Description


The Vice President, Human Resources (HR) of Farm Credit of New Mexico will partner with the Board of Directors, where applicable, and Senior Leaders along with their respective Team Leaders to develop and execute the HR strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation, resource optimization, and organizational effectiveness. 

In this role, the individual will work to solve complex organizational challenges through team-related solutions. Working with the company's leaders and managers, this individual has a strong knowledge of business operations and human capital practices to promote the company's strategic priorities, culture, mission and values.

The individual, will assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, culture, engagement, diversity, retention and leadership development, and drive the appropriate solutions in these areas.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years broad-based HR experience required, including 5-10 years of experience required at the senior management level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience in supervision required
  • Financial institution experience preferred
  • Master’s Degree and/or HR certification (HRCI or SHRM) preferred.

Grade and salary commensurate with experience.
