We are looking for: Credit Analyst, Express Desk, WICHITA KANSAS 
The Credit Analyst - Express Desk operates in a fast-paced team environment and with an emphasis placed on overall customer experience. Responsible for preparing financial loan packages for Express Underwriting decisions as well as processing all Servicing Actions which fall within the Express Loan Program. The Express Desk allows individuals to gain knowledge of the Associations very diverse agricultural footprint. This position will help establish credit underwriting skills which may allow for future growth opportunities within AAC. 

Duties Include: 

  1. Compiles loan and financial information from multiples sources, and inputs information in loan origination system.
  2. Reviews all pertinent credit and financial information; determine the need for more thorough investigation or additional information; analyze information statement and related material; prepare summaries, present facts, and offer opinions concerning credit-worthiness.
  3. Strong communication skills for discussions with Retail Lending Team and Agribusiness Team regarding quality and detail of financial information for financial input.
  4. Focus on decisioning of servicing actions to help develop an understanding of credit underwriting.
  5. Knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations and Association policies and procedures.
  6. Ability to multi-task, understand workload prioritization and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  7. Coordinates and communicates with multiple departments including but not limited to: Operations, Lending, Leasing, Retail Underwriting, Appraisal, Loan Documentation, Loan Accounting and Credit Resolution in all Regions of the Company.
  8. TEAMPLAYER: Assist other Express Team members to distribute workload.
  9. Ensure customer service is maintained at a high level at all times.
    • Represent the Association at public functions
    • Based on manager discretion, scores and analyze loan applications and credit package. Recommend approval or denial of loans, or approve/deny loans within delegated lending authority.

Typical Education and Experience: 

  1. BA/BS degree with emphasis on agribusiness, business administration, or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of agriculture and/or agribusiness.
  3. Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Proficient in use of PC, including word-processing, e-mail and electronic spreadsheet software.

Job Requirements: 
Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
