Job Description

 

AgChoice Farm Credit is recruiting a dynamic individual to be a key contributor in the further development of its syndication and participation loan portfolio.  This position is a part of our debt capital markets team.  The position requires advanced skills in credit analysis.  The successful candidate will be able to analyze new loan syndication and participation loan opportunities for purchase as well as develop and package large and complex loans for sale.  Experience with and understanding of Shared National Credit transactions is a plus.  Candidate will have the willingness to engage in business development activities over time.  The position will be based in our Mechanicsburg office and requires some travel throughout the continental U.S.  

Desired attributes:
• A minimum of a four-year degree with an emphasis in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration. An advanced degree is desired but not mandatory.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• An interest in or some experience with loan participations and syndications.
• The ability and desire to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work a non-standard work week when required to meet deadlines including potential weekend work.  .
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word software.
• Prior experience analyzing public company financial statements and making investment or loan recommendations.
