Job Description


This position reports directly to the VP, Marketing, Communications and Strategic Account Management.  The Program Manager provides operational direction, administration and support of the customer affinity program (National Discount Program) and the management and implementation of the sponsorship program.  This role will serve as the account manager and business development manager for the programs, responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and growing the programs with new audiences, and partners/products and services.  This role will be responsible for managing the relationships and budgets with all existing and potential program partners. Position may require quarterly travel. No relocation assistance is provided.



National Discount Program Management

Partner Management

  • Identification and evaluation of services and partners included in the program offerings
  • Negotiation of terms with program vendors
  • Coordinate with General Counsel for completed contracts
  • Work with partners to develop marketing strategy for the program offerings
  • Identify growth opportunities


Client Development/Account Management/Business Development

  • Design of proposals, presentations
  • Maintain sales pipeline
  • Develop and implement annual marketing and business development strategy
  • Manage the program marketing calendar and development of e-mail campaigns to promote program offerings


Sponsorship Program Management

  • Sponsorship budget management
  • Business development to meet the annual financial goals
  • Develop the full sponsorship benefit plan (pricing, opportunities, benefits, etc.)
  • Work with marketing to develop sponsorship supporting materials
  • Coordinate with Events team to ensure fulfillment of the sponsor benefits
  • Identify opportunity for new sponsorships and support


Ideal Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Account management/business development/sales experience
  • Communication Skills and Relationship Management – written, and verbal communication skills that are professional and able to clearly and succinctly get the message across.
  • Organizational Skills – strong attention to detail, utilizes tools and processes to get work done effectively and efficiently.
  • Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Experience managing vendors, negotiation skills a plus
  • Experience meeting a sales target and managing an expense budget
  • Experience following a business development process and pipeline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Works well independently to carry out responsibilities and as part of a team in a fast paced, growth environment
  • Sponsorship program experience a plus
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and FCC Services customers
  • Ability to act efficiently and to identify new areas of growth for both programs
  • Maintains confidentiality as required and supports the core values and mission of the organization.
