We are looking for a LENDER for our Oakdale, CA Office!!!

This position is responsible for taking and analyzing commercial and/or real estate loan applications, recommending loan approval/denial, servicing assigned loans, and developing and marketing new business.  Responsible for management of existing designated loan portfolio; renewal operating loans and term loans.


1)  Interview loan applicants, assess customer needs and provide service in a timely manner to meet those needs.  Assist customers in preparing loan applications, financial statements and budgets.

2) Analyze loan applications and supporting documents; verify financial statements, review credit reports, collect relevant data; approve or deny loans within delegated lending authority or make recommendations.

3) Assist in the development of new business by conducting marketing calls, handle inquiries, involvement in community or industry functions, and provide timely service to customers. 

4) Analyze, monitor and follow-up on requests for restructure and/or problem loans and recommends action.

5) Asist with determining and reviewing required legal documentation.

6) Assure compliance with all FCA, District, and local board and Association policies and procedures relative to essential duties. 

7) Provide loan servicing and follow-up on assigned loans.

8) Communicate Association credit philosophy to customer.  Communicate and promote the availability of loan products and other financially related services.

9) Conduct collateral inspections. 

Perform other functions assigned.


1) BA/BS degree with emphasis on agriculture, business administration, or equivalent. 

2) 2  to 10 + years progressively responsible banking or related agricultural lending experience.

3) Demonstrated credit and analytical skills.  Working knowledge of agricultural lending principles and practices, and association and Farm Credit System operating policies and procedures.

4) Knowledge of FCA regulations, Association and District policies and procedures.

5) Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.

6) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

7) Exceptional persuasive and interpersonal skills.   Demonstrated proficiency in leading and motivating others.

8) Proficient in use of PC, including word-processing, e-mail and electronic spreadsheet software.


Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel required.
