Job Description

Position Summary:  Provides customer service and technical support to staff on supported applications, software, active directory, printing, PC’s and network equipment, including phone system support.  Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems with 3rd party vendors.  Completes general and preventative hardware and software maintenance.  Performs patch installations.  Maintains log of individual computers, printers, etc., that contains IP addresses and authorized software programs. Provides customer service and technical troubleshooting support for mobile devices.  Prepares hardware and software as required by Executive Staff for meetings.  Appropriately protects the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems and data and clients’ data.


Minimum Qualifications:  Associate’s degree in computer related field.  2 years of experience in PC support, troubleshooting and desktop support or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.  A+ certification or additional technical training in a qualified program.  Working knowledge in Windows Operating Systems and peripheral hardware.  Oral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customers.  Regular attendance is required on this job, with the ability to work a full 8 hour day.
