We currently have a position open for a Relationship Manager.

PRIMARY ROLE:

Responsible for conducting a business development program which results in portfolio growth of acceptable classed loans, priced to achieve ACA financial objectives.      

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Serves as an aggressive sales and business development representative of the ACA.  Highly skilled negotiator with demonstrated results in attaining sales goals.  Direct experience in all aspects of commercial lending with proficiency in risk assessment and loan structuring.  Maintains an understanding of applicable policies, procedures, and regulations and conforms as appropriate.  Has direct responsibility for maintaining acceptable credit administration and credit quality.  Will build and service a loan portfolio which meets the growth objectives of the ACA.

FUNCTIONS:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the job include, but are not limited to:

  • Services an assigned portfolio of loans.  Is responsible for maintaining satisfactory credit quality and loan administration on existing accounts as well as new accounts.
  • Sales
  • Expected to construct marketing and business development plan and is responsible for meeting sales goals established by ACA.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS of the job include, but are not limited to:

  • Irregular hours and travel (75%) likely.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, economics or finance.
     
  2. Five years or more experience, with an additional 3 years of commercial lending experience required.
     
  3. Strong analysis, judgment and communication (oral and written) skills.
     
  4. Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the borrower and the ACA.
     
  5. Problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
     
  6. Demonstrated selling and negotiation skills related to commercial lending.

PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKING REQUIREMENTS:

Relationship Manager will be able to work independently and will handle a wide range of loans by size and complexity.
