Today, hundreds of ag industry participants and journalists are attending the National Association of Farm Broadcasting’ (NAFB) 73rd annual convention in Kansas City, Missouri, and participating in Trade Talk, a one-of-a-kind media relations event held every year at the convention. Event organizers estimate 2,542 interviews are conducted at Trade Talk, and this year, three Farm Credit subject matter experts are on-hand to talk with media, offering insights and expertise on industry trends, challenges and opportunities. Dan Flanagan Inducted into Kentucky Poultry Federation's Hall of Fame

Dan Flanagan, who sits on both the AgriBank and Farm Credit Council board of directors, was voted unanimously to be inducted into the Kentucky Poultry Federation (KPF) Hall of Fame. He was officially inducted at the 18th Annual KPF Festival and awards banquet in Louisville, Ky. Flanagan joins a small group of KPF Hall of Fame members, who have all helped Kentucky’s poultry industry develop into the thriving economic driver that it is today. Read More »

As National Farm to School Month winds to a close, Farm Credit is highlighting activities and events sponsored by some of our member organizations across the country. As with our national sponsorship of this organization, these local and regional activities demonstrate Farm Credit’s broad support for the important goals of the National Farm to School Network (NFSN): educating children and their families about how their food is grown; increasing access to and consumption of fresh, locally raised food in our schools; and supporting local farmers and local economies by encouraging the development of local markets.
