Season Nine of America’s Heartland Debuts

Season nine of America's Heartland debuted last week on local PBS stations and online - check your local listings for show times. This season's first episode features a fascinating story about new cherry production techniques that provide consumers with better quality fruit at a lower price. Reporter Jason Shoultz also investigates Citrus Greening Disease and the research underway to save the honeybees.

The award-winning weekly broadcast program introduces non-farm viewers to the men and women who provide the nation and the world with food, fuel and fiber. Over the last eight seasons, reporters and crews have captured more than 700 stories featuring farmers and ranchers who are committed to food safety, sustainability, environmental stewardship and animal welfare.
