Today, hundreds of ag industry participants and journalists are attending the National Association of Farm Broadcasting’ (NAFB) 73rd annual convention in Kansas City, Missouri, and participating in Trade Talk, a one-of-a-kind media relations event held every year at the convention. Event organizers estimate 2,542 interviews are conducted at Trade Talk, and this year, three Farm Credit subject matter experts are on-hand to talk with media, offering insights and expertise on industry trends, challenges and opportunities. Taking place just days after Farm Credit recognized the start of its 100th year of support to rural communities and agriculture, the 17th annual Agriculture Media Summit earlier this week provided the first national external outreach opportunity of the Farm Credit 100 program. Held in Scottsdale, Arizona, more than 600 agricultural media members, industry professionals and students were in attendance and had an opportunity to learn more about our centennial and particularly the Farm Credit 100 Fresh Perspectives search.
